нашей газеты Михаила Безроднего, на котором животноводы колхоза имени Калинина стоят возле секретаря партийного бюро М.С. Процая, а он зачитывает им материалы из газеты о полете
Юрия Гагарина.
И как же радовались колхозники этому грандиозному событию! Фотоархив газеты "Знамя труда".

Мы все знаем знаменитое гагаринское «Поехали!». Но во время заключительной стадии полёта Юрий Гагарин бросил фразу, о которой долгое время предпочитали ничего не писать: «Я горю, прощайте, товарищи!».
Дело в том, что до Гагарина никто не имел чёткого представления о том, как будет выглядеть прохождение космическим кораблём плотных слоёв атмосферы при спуске. Поэтому Гагарин, увидев в иллюминаторе бушующее пламя, предположил, что космический корабль охвачен пожаром, и через несколько секунд он погибнет. На самом деле трение жаропрочной обшивки космического корабля об атмосферу – рабочий момент, который происходит при каждом полёте. Теперь космонавты готовы к этому яркому и впечатляющему зрелищу, которое первым увидел Гагарин.

Когда-то еще в детстве прочитал слова В.П. Чкалова: "Если быть, то быть первым". Вот я и стараюсь им быть и буду до конца. Хочу, Валечка, посвятить этот полет людям нового общества…". Это письмо Юрий Гагарин написал 10 апреля 1961 года. Менее чем за сутки до своего полета. Уже 14 апреля Гагарина спецбортом привезли в Москву. С тех пор красные дорожки, камеры, здравицы, официальные приемы пошли нескончаемой круговертью. "Сына Земли" хотят видеть в мире, ему вешают ордена на грудь, наперебой называют героем. Гагарин стал, вернее, его заставили стать фетишем страны. А заодно - запретили летать… Это Гагарину-то! Человеку, который с детства стремился в небо. И ставил перед собой еще более дерзкую задачу: ступить первым на Луну. В этом фильме – несколько интересных историй из жизни Юрия Гагарина. Друзья и очевидцы этих событий размышляют о том, чем жил первый космонавт планеты ПОСЛЕ той самой минуты, которой он посвятил всю свою жизнь…

Катастрофа самолета в результате которой 50 лет назад погибли космонавт Юрий Гагарин и летчик-инструктор Владимир Серегин, долгое время была окутана завесой тайны. Авторы фильма исследовали рассекреченные архивные материалы, разобрали интервью коллег и близких погибших и очевидца аварии, а также смоделировали тот злополучный полет, чтобы понять, что произошло в небе над Владимирской областью 27 марта 1968 года. В частности, в картину войдут последние в жизни интервью летчиков-испытателей С.А. Микояна и М.Л. Попович, а также единственное интервью дочери В.С. Серегина Надежды Серегиной.
Кроме того, авторы располагают редкими архивными записями. Центральной линией, связывающей все эпизоды картины, стали испытания, проведенные в Центральном аэрогидродинамическом институте имени профессора Н.Е. Жуковского летчиком-космонавтом А.Н. Шкаплеровым. На тренажере самолета МиГ А.Н. Шкаплеров проверит все возможные версии крушения, дав наиболее полную картину того, что могло произойти в небе.
